About Minecraft Modpacks
What Are Modpacks?
Minecraft modpacks are curated collections of mods packaged together for a specific gameplay experience. Instead of manually installing dozens of individual mods and resolving compatibility issues, modpacks provide a ready-to-play experience with hundreds of mods working together seamlessly.
Popular modpacks like All The Mods, RLCraft, and Better Minecraft include custom configurations, recipe changes, and quest systems that create unique progression paths beyond vanilla gameplay.
Hosting a Modpack Server
Running a modpack server requires more resources than vanilla Minecraft. Most modpacks need 6-10GB of RAM depending on the mod count and player count. High single-thread CPU performance is essential for maintaining stable TPS with complex mods.
Our dedicated servers come with one-click modpack installation from CurseForge, automatic updates, and pre-optimized JVM flags for modded gameplay. NVMe storage ensures fast world loading even with hundreds of mods installed.
Forge vs Fabric vs NeoForge
Minecraft modpacks use different mod loaders. Forge is the oldest and most popular with the largest mod library. Fabric is lightweight and fast, popular for performance-focused packs. NeoForge is a newer fork of Forge with modern improvements.
Our servers support all three loaders. The modpack you choose determines which loader is required β this is handled automatically during installation.
Choosing a Modpack
For beginners, try lightweight packs like Better Minecraft or Crucial 2. For experienced players, kitchen-sink packs like ATM10 or FTB Presents Direwolf20 offer massive content. For a challenge, try hardcore packs like RLCraft or Gregtech: New Horizons.
Consider your server's player count when choosing β larger packs with more mods require more RAM per player. Our modpack pages include recommended server specifications for each pack.
