The Forest is Endnight's 2018 co-op horror survival game — the cannibal-filled island that launched the modern survival genre's darker sibling. Up to 8 players crash-land, build bases, explore caves, and survive the increasingly hostile mutant tribes. Got a sequel in 2024 (Sons of the Forest) but the original still has an active community.
Our The Forest template uses the official dedicated server binary with auto-updates, correct ports opened, and daily save backups. The game's world is persistent — your base, caves explored, and crafted items survive restarts.
