Arma 3 is Bohemia Interactive's flagship military sandbox, released in 2013 and still the backbone of the milsim community more than a decade later. Open-world scenarios, authentic weaponry, and a mod ecosystem that includes Ace 3, CBA, ACRE2, TFAR, CUP, RHS, and Eden Editor make Arma 3 the template for dedicated-server-based tactical multiplayer. Dedicated servers support up to 100 players on a single instance.
Our Arma 3 template ships with Workshop mod auto-sync wired up: paste a mod ID, the panel resolves the collection, downloads via SteamCMD, and aligns client-side keys. We pre-install CBA and Ace 3 as optional quick-starts for milsim groups. Custom mission PBOs upload via the panel's file manager; mission rotation is handled by scheduled tasks.
Arma 3's server is notoriously single-thread bound — AI behavior, projectile simulation, and scripting all tick on the main thread. Our Ryzen 9 7950X / 7950X3D nodes have among the highest single-thread scores shipping, which keeps AI ticks stable during 40-slot firefights where budget hosts lose frames. RAM: 8 GB for 20-player sessions, 12–16 GB for 60-slot milsim servers with heavy mod stacks.
