You land on an alien planet and build a logistics empire from miners to trains to drones, automating production of increasingly complex parts across a massive open world. Up to 4 players can share a single save.
Our Satisfactory template ships with the official dedicated server binary (released in 2024 with Update 8), auto-update via SteamCMD, and the SMM (Satisfactory Mod Manager) mod ecosystem preconfigured. Late-game factories with thousands of placed buildings and active conveyors tax any host; the single-thread CPU is where budget servers fall over.
Performance scales with your factory. Early game runs in 6 GB RAM easily; late-game Phase 5 factories with trains, drones, blueprints, and vehicle fleets benefit from 12–16 GB.
