About the game

About Terraria

Terraria is Re-Logic's 2D sandbox adventure — the tiny-pixel game that's sold 50+ million copies and had the most loyal modding community in indie gaming since 2011. Labor of Love (1.4.4) and subsequent patches keep adding content over a decade later.

Our Terraria template runs either vanilla Terraria Server or tShock (the community admin/plugin framework preferred by most servers) as one-click options. tModLoader (for mod support) is a third template option — Calamity, Thorium, Spirit, and other major mods install via the panel.

Terraria is extremely light: 1–2 GB RAM handles a 16-player vanilla server comfortably. tModLoader mod stacks push RAM to 4–8 GB. Our NVMe storage keeps world saves fast. Cross-platform play between PC, Xbox, PS5, and mobile is supported.

What Terraria admins say

Setup was instant. I was uploading my world within two minutes of checkout.
Marek W.
Community admin
Latency from the EU node is under 30ms for my whole squad. Zero rubber-banding even on intense sessions.
ColonelHawk
Clan lead
Support actually knows the games. Had a config issue resolved in 20 minutes at 2am.
Lena B.
Server owner
Backups saved a 200-hour save after a mod broke it. One-click restore, worth the plan by itself.
Kenji T.
Game host
Panel is miles better than what I was on before. I don't even miss SFTP.
Ryan P.
Server network admin
Switching between games without paying again is the feature I didn't know I needed.

FAQs

Terraria hosting FAQs

Vanilla or tShock?+

tShock for community servers (admin, bans, regions, commands); vanilla for pure friend-group play. Both install one-click.

Does tModLoader work?+

Yes. Our tModLoader template installs the latest release and supports major mod stacks (Calamity, Thorium, Spirit, Fargo's). Client mods sync automatically on connect.

Is Terraria cross-platform?+

Yes. PC, Xbox, PS5, and mobile Terraria share the same multiplayer protocol since Journey's End (1.4).

How much RAM?+

2 GB vanilla; 4–8 GB for heavy tModLoader mod stacks.

Custom maps?+

Yes. Upload .wld save files via panel; the server loads on restart.

Daily backups?+

Yes. Every plan includes rolling 7-day save backups. Restore with one click.
