Our Barotrauma template supports the full 16-player cap with Steam Workshop mod auto-sync. The campaign save persists between sessions; traitors, missions, and sub upgrades all carry over. Mods for new subs, biomes, and creatures install via Workshop URL paste.
Barotrauma is surprisingly CPU-heavy during combat — fluid simulation, physics, and AI all tick server-side. 4 GB RAM is fine; CPU single-thread is what matters for keeping tick rates stable during monster attacks. Our Ryzen 9 nodes handle it; budget CPUs hitch during multi-monster fights.
