About the game

About Necesse

Necesse is Mads Skovgaard's 2D top-down survival-adventure — Terraria meets Stardew with town management, multiple biomes, bosses, and a focus on small-scale RPG progression. Active solo development, regular patches.

Our Necesse template supports dedicated multiplayer up to 32 players. Mod support via the game's mod API is growing; full file access for community mods. Persistent worlds, admin tools, and scheduled tasks are panel-managed.

Necesse is light on hardware: 4 GB RAM for 8-player servers; 6-8 GB for 32-player communities with heavy mods.
